Spring/Summer 2008 Newsletter Hello to you all from sunny Jamesfield. At this time of year with the crops in full flow and the flowers budding it is a joy to be working in such a beautiful part of the world. Please come and see for yourself- our visitor centre is open from 8.30am-5.30pm 7days a week. Serving morning coffees, fantastic light lunches and afternoon teas all prepared on the premises by our award winning chef's Craig Mellor and Darin Campbell. Our customer feedback to date has been superb- Both Craig and Darin have an excellent pedigree- Craig having spent many years in the high seas with luxury cruise liners and Darin working for a while in Gordon Ramsays London kitchen and 5 years as head chef to Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles. As you can see, it has been a busy few months, we have spent time improving the food on offer in our centre and as a result I must apologise for neglecting you all. This is the 1st newsletter since December and I fully regret not getting this to you earlier. From now on it's my intention to get a newsletter to you at the very lest every 2nd month. Now the dust is beginning to settle, we want to get a full range of both Butchery and freshly prepared ready meals (from Craig and Darin) into your delivery boxes. Along with Bellfield Organic Nursery we are holding an Open Day on the 15th June from 11am to 4pm, where we will be hosting a tour of Jamesfield Farm where you can learn how your food is grown and there will be plenty to do for all the family including face painting, pony rides and a BBQ. Jamesfield Farm is 300 acres sprawled along the banks of the River Earn on the Perthshire and Fife border. I am Ian Miller, and along with my brother Roy, we own and manage the farm.
On the farm, we rear our own animals and grow our own vegetables. We also have an onsite butchery, bakery, restauraunt and shop. Please have a look at our products on the left hand side using the categories. We offer a next day home mail order delivery service of Organic meat (and Free Range meat) to most areas of the mainland UK. We are proud of the quality and taste of our organic meat. You order organic meat on-line or by mail order and we are confident you’ll enjoy all of our products.
