Also reared here on Jamesfield, our Organic Lamb & Mutton are truly a delight, especially to the gourmets amongst us. To be truthful, it really is not difficult to distinguish the taste between our Organic Lamb & Mutton and that of conventional animals. Once tasted, it is never forgotten.
Suffolk, Cheviot, Grey Face and occasional Black Face lambs are grazed on Organic grass and are used to “tidy up” the fields as they also feed on the stubble of harvested Organic vegetables and Organic cereals.
Again the animal husbandry is of the highest possible standards which of course is part of the strict certification process.
